We’re all being tested this month, which “begins with a new moon in Aquarius, close to Saturn and squared by Uranus, with four planets: Venus, Mars, Mercury & Pluto, in Capricorn, so February carries a strong Saturnian vibe”, which seeks to restrict our activities. Saturn rules Capricorn. So the Feb 1st new moon urges us to question our sense of limitations and what purpose they may serve. “Saturn is the planet of death, and Saturn’s presence in Aquarius, the sign governing humanity, is uncomfortable for society as a whole, which has been demonstrated by Saturn’s move into Aquarius in March 2020. Since then, we have collectively faced the threat of death every day. Elizabeth Warren lamented on 1/18/22, “all 50 Dems in the Senate profess to be behind the Voting Rights bill, but it’s just the Senate procedural rules that give McConnell a veto over what the majority of this nation voted for”. Ari Berman wrote, “The Filibuster continues to distort all notions of representative government. The 51 senators who supported the John Lewis bill originally, represent 44.2 million more Americans than the 48 senators who opposed it.” So, how big a bribe did Manchin & Sinema require to abandon their proposed Democratic principles? Most Dems who ultimately voted for Joe Biden, originally wanted a more progressive candidate such as Bernie Sanders, Liz Warren, Buttigieg, Harris, O’Rourke. More voters than ever before in any presidential election voted for trusted Joe Biden, and WE want to go ‘Forward’, not regress to the racist, repressive past.

Kyrsten Sinema, D-AZ, is often mistaken or outright lying about things she says, such as her statement regarding the Filibuster being rooted in our Constitution. It is NOT! And regarding the latest GOP talking point, the kerfuffle about Dems trying to limit states’ rights, even Alexander Hamilton, in the Federalist Papers, stated that voting rules shouldn’t be left up to the individual states. There MUST be a federal standard! Voting rights are a baseline tenet of our democracy. Though significant progress has been made in reducing racial discrimination, clearly more progress & protections are necessary. Our latest Census proved that we have a more ethnically-diverse electorate than ever before. Black history (& her-story) in the U.S. is everyone’s history, as is Jewish, Latino, Asian, Italian, Polish, etc., and especially indigenous natives. In 21st-century America, our laws, liberties, safeguards & benefits must be applicable to protect & serve all Americans.

Trump was broadcast last week saying, “it’s important who counts the votes”, parroting Joseph Stalin, who proclaimed the same philosophy; both repressive leaders were NOT for counting the votes they didn’t like. We’re at a perilous crossroads for our Democracy, and I heard someone recently declare , “It’s always darkest just before it’s pitch black”. “The Republican Party, the once Grand Old Party of Lincoln, has wrapped itself in lies, propaganda, conspiracy theories and disinformation. By attacking the outcome of our elections, the GOP fails its basic responsibility to our democracy”, said U.S. Representive Jamie Raskin, D-MD. He also reminded us that, “Americans are unified not by one ethnicity, nor by one religion, but we ARE unified by one Constitution”.

New words come into our lexicon constantly, but one of my favs coined by ‘President Dubya Bush’, was “strategery”. One current talking point is, “President Biden waited too long to begin pushing for voting-protection legislation”, which is nonsense. Do you feel you have good critical-thinking skills and are a strategic-thinker? So, with this all-out brawl going on in Congress, do you really think Biden should have led with the legislation that will undoubtedly require a filibuster carve-out to pass, especially since Manchin & Sinema have declared they will NOT support a rules-change? In Biden’s first year, his administration distributed billions of vaccines, which by summer of 2021 were free & widely available to all. At this point around 75 percent of adults, 64 percent of ages 12 – 17, and 26 percent of kids aged 5 to 11 have at least been partially vaccinated. In 2021, two big bills passed, helping many Americans: $1.9 T Covid-19 Economic Relief Plan & the $1 T Infrastructure, Investment & Jobs Act. The unemployment rate & inflation were both decreasing until the Omicron variant hit & surged. With continued high demand for goods and supply lines still slowed, we see ‘pandemic-inflation’.

Biden wanted to bring cooperation & bipartisanship back to Congress. Dems have tried to build consensus for voter-protections for months. Nineteen GOP-controlled states passed laws in 2021, fueled by The Big Lie, to repress voters & enable election-subversion. Senate Majority Leader Schumer is calling for a voting rights debate on 1/19, then will call for a rules-change for that bill, then will call for each senator to cast a Yay or Nay vote. Each must go public with their stand! Under President George W. Bush, in 2006, by a vote of 98 – 0, the Senate approved (and President Bush signed) another 25-year extension of the Voting Rights Act, which President LBJ signed in 1965. The John Lewis bill would restore the VRA after it was gutted by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2013, in Shelby County vs Holder. Senate Republicans have blocked 3 different voting rights bills, Dems introduced in 2021, from reaching the Senate floor. The 16 GOP senators still present, who voted for the VRA in 2006, must now vote their conscience or stand in lock-step with ‘Trumpists’. Senator Lindsay Graham announced last week that anyone not solidly behind former-president Trump, cannot go forward in their party! Many won’t run again; the path forward will be strewn with deserters. The debased RNC announced that it will no longer support presidential debates, and will require candidates to sign a contract agreeing they’ll NOT debate!

Why did senators Manchin & Sinema promise McConnell, before Biden’s inauguration, that they would NOT vote to abolish the filibuster? Because they are obvious DINOs (Democrats in name only); in their next campaigns, both should run as Republican candidates! They are NOT centrists; they are paid-obstructionists. Under the Trump regime, McConnell worked a carve-out of the filibuster to get Supreme Court justices confirmed; Dems need to do the same, or better yet, abolish the last remnant of Jim Crow senate-tactics, to pass federal voting protections to ensure liberty, equality & justice for all Americans, and to pass the Build Back Better Act to help bring our country into the 21st century by implementing necessary social & physical infrastructure, and climate-change initiatives. Besides the entire GOP, two thorny obstacles hinder our path toward progressive change, namely: Manchin & Sinema. On 11/18/21, in an hours-long speech to stall a House vote on the ‘BBB’ social spending bill, House Minority ‘Ring-Leader’, Kevin McCarthy, exhorted, “Nobody elected Joe Biden to be FDR”. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, sharp as ever, shouted, “I did”, another voice chimed in, “me too”. Millions of us voted for Biden to be a transformational president, like FDR, but there are plenty of dark-money forces that seek to staunch his power, especially forces behind right-wing donors & fossil-fuel industries, from which Joe Manchin has been greatly enriched.

I urge you all to Google & read the 1/10/22, Rolling Stone article, written by Jeff Goodell, “Manchin’s Coal Corruption Is So Much Worse Than You Know”. It’s long, and gives damning evidence of Manchin’s powerful, political roots in West Virginia, his longtime financial involvement with fossil-fuel & the pharmaceutical industries, his ownership of coal-mining operations, his smarmy political tactics, his greed & indifference to the welfare of West Virginians, who pay exorbitant rates for the energy that cooks the climate, in a state raped for coal, and most negatively affected by the opioid-crises. Manchin assumes his folksy manner with reporters, but he’s an unethical, hard-core grifter. Manchin is the “face of the fossil-fuel confederacy” and their disinformation campaign to keep fooling the public, but “Coal is the new Lost Cause”, though Manchin rakes in millions of dollars annually from the ‘confederacy’. As Manchin worries aloud about Americans’ sense of entitlement, while in D.C. he stays on his houseboat (or yacht) in Washington Marina and drives an Italian-made Maserati. Manchin is exploiting America & his swing-vote-position, “paradoxically controlling the trajectory of the climate-crises”.

The Jan 6, 2021, vicious attack on our nation’s Capitol was real, horrific, deadly, and was coordinated by Trump administration officials, in an attempted-coup, to prevent the national vote-certification of their champion’s defeat. Several Capitol policemen were killed, 140 injured. The Congressional hearing committee thoroughly investigating this insurrection at the Capitol, will broadcast their results to us. Bennie Thompson, chair of that special commission said, “We came critically close to losing our democracy.” Not since the Civil War has such a coup been attempted; some scholars warn of risk of another civil war. America seems more divided a year after that attack. Recent polling suggests that 1 in 3 Americans think violence against the govt is sometimes necessary. Even though some Trump officials were begging Trump to make an announcement & call off the attackers, shortly after the incident they had all fallen in line, as the Big Lie took hold in many minds. Today, supposedly 70% of Republican voters still believe the last presidential election was stolen. Extreme polarization & GOP’s refusal to accept the results of the 2020 election are a dangerous combination, and we should be able to see that many American deaths have been needlessly caused by the global pandemic having been politicized & propagandized.

What if Donald Trump does run again and wins in 2024? What then? Pete Ryan, from The Economist, wrote in a 1/1/2022, article, “polling shows the former president is one point behind President Joe Biden, well within the margin of error, and thanks to the electoral college, possibly ahead in a theoretical matchup”. The GOP seems willing to accept only the election results they favor. We can expect the Big Lie to continue to proliferate. Republican lawmakers in several states have passed laws to repress & overturn elections. Right-wing GOP candidates run on Trumpian messages. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has suggested that Texas secede from our Union. “The mid-term election of 2022, and the general election of 2024, will take place under this shadow of Big Lies”, said Pete Ryan who asserts, “Republicans could exploit the election machinery, already infected by extreme partisanship, and will continue to dispute races won by Democrats”. We MUST cooperate to shore-up our voting systems, passing a federal voting rights act NOW! The lack of bipartisanship exposes the democratic decay. The GOP cannot afford to walk away from American democracy, the rule of law, and the peaceful transfer of power. Their continued infatuation with Trumpism could prove fatal for America.

The future is merging with the present; earth changes have accelerated; what we focus on manifests almost instantaneously, so be mindful of where & what you are focusing thought & intention upon. The Dawn of a New Year, 2022 is a year of healing, the beginning of a Renaissance, a transitional movement of rebirth for humanity, an uplifting surge in enlightenment or higher consciousness. We will see and may even experience the last vestiges of the death throes of the old Piscean structures, a systemic oppression & repression of peoples on planet Earth, but it is falling, and 2022 begins in earnest, a clearing of the decks for a forward motion & the inner-world changes that bring the New Earth into fruition. Greed, corruption, sex-trafficking, perverse-policing, evil & villainy in high places, will all be exposed & brought to judicious-reformation. There is a thinning of the veil, and much truth will be revealed to us in the coming years, but “2022 is a grand year for spirituality, the beginning of expanded collective consciousness; humanity will be more receptive to other higher dimensional beings who are here to assist Earth during this time of planetary crisis”, says P’taah through Marcela, who foretells that, “Russia will be severely weakened and Putin will be ousted from office”; that “fighting will continue in the Middle East, but this is all humanity’s need to hit rock bottom so that it can gain higher spiritual ground”. P’taah predicts that Covid will diminish due to vaccines, and “radical climate change will be the biggest global concern in 2022”; and urges that “the work of starseeds is vital to the salvation of Mother Earth, to help awaken and activate other starseeds. You are spiritual warriors ready to take on this hard & demanding task. You have galactic origins, and you are powerful. Do not underestimate your planetary healing abilities to help stabilize our beloved Gaia.” Below is an exercise given by P’taah for us to visualize & participate.

“COMMUNICATE WITH THE SPIRIT OF GAIA: Close your eyes and take three deep breaths. Connect to Mother Earth by saying her name. Next, identify yourself as a planetary healer. It is important that you let Gaia know your purpose. Say, ‘Beloved Gaia, I am a planetary healer, and I am here to aid in your repair and regeneration’. *** Allow her to respond to you. Visualize a pink spiral of light emanating from your heart chakra. It increases in momentum and gets larger the more you connect to your love for Mother Earth. Send this spinning ball of pink light, this orb of love energy, to Gaia now. Visualize Mother Earth receiving this light and being completely engulfed by it. The spinning ball of pink light spirals around Gaia. *** Hold this image, and say to her slowly, ‘You will be healed. Humanity will be healed. Beloved Gaia, you will be healed. Humanity will be healed’. *** Wait and listen for her response. **** Reassure her that you are doing what you agreed to come to Earth to do and that you are fulfilling part of your mission as a starseed to aid in her repair and regeneration. *** Once again, say, ‘You will be healed.
