April astrological: Bring more harmony into your life

There are several planets in Aries this month with the Sun close to Uranus, Venus and Mars, squared by the Moon and Pluto.  This configuration of planets challenges us to break free from past restrictions and limiting beliefs we have about our lives and ourselves.  There is ample opportunity and motivation for us to change whatever we feel is no longer working for us; so whether its a job, relationships, or views about ourselves that hold us back, now is the ideal time to change things up!  The new moon in Aries on April 10th is the perfect catalyst for new beginnings and positive feelings that we can affect the changes we want to experience.  Venus accompanies this new moon and enhances our appreciation for the beauty in our lives; so let’s take time to consider a new look for our surroundings and ourselves, maybe a new hair style and some redecorating might be in order.  Venus begs us to enjoy the process of creating something, so expand your talents through art, music, writing or photography, just for the pure fun of it.  This interplay between the Sun, Venus and Mars gives us the opportunity to bring more balance and harmony into our relationships.  The third week of the month brings the dynamic joining of Mercury and Uranus, which challenges us to set ourselves free from rigid thought patterns we hold, and to be open to new inspiration, especially between April 18th and 21st; this should be a good week for meditations.  There is a lunar eclipse in Scorpio on April 25th; it is joined by Saturn, and in opposition to a triple conjunction of Venus, Mars and the Sun.  This is a “serious eclipse” which promotes our finding a balance between the joys we can open ourselves to and the responsibilites of our lives, and lightening our loads.  This is a time for discovering the “truth of who we are” and being able to see the “truth that lies beneath the surface in others”.  It is a time to give up falseness and deception, but the “optimism of the Sun, the motivation of Mars, and the joy and love of Venus” propel us forward to seek out more positive, harmonious ways of being and relating.  “Use these qualities to fuel the changes”.
