June brings the end of the volatile T-square that began last December and has been so demanding a time for many of us. With this Mercury retrograde transit it’s a period for rest and reflection. Slow down and “take it easy”! With “the growing epidemic of anxiety and information overload” we’re all under, the best RX might just be to “unplug for awhile” to create a space in our lives everyday for sustenance. If we can have regular “info-fasts”, not reading the newspaper or watching the news, and unplugging our phones and computers, we can opt to spend several minutes a day meditating or in quiet contemplation of peace and love. We’re in an epoch of great change and Mercury retrograde gives us permission to switch off our technology and do something restful that we enjoy, like reading a good book or nature walking. “A Full Moon occurs on June 13th and coincides with the T-square of Uranus, Mars and Pluto, while Saturn lines up to oppose Venus.” We need to ask for Divine assistance from our angels and whatever other Spirit-forces we believe in to help us regenerate and refresh. We can also turn to our fellow human beings for help in reviving: getting a massage or a dose of Reiki, a chiropractic adjustment, or doing yoga and meditating with a friend. The Venus-Saturn opposition if rife for bringing up guilt and self-loathing. Don’t give in to it! Especially during the third week in June you may need the assistance of a counselor or supportive friends who are good at listening and being positive. The New Moon on June 27th will inspire us to “wash away our woes”. June is the end of a long and arduous struggle of ups and downs and breakthroughs and hard experiences; and near the end of June we will hopefully find ourselves in a more restful state of mind and ready to blossom and enjoy the coming harvest.
