Looking the plans over, it’s all beautiful; I especially like more bike lanes, increased lighting for certain areas, adding trees, benches and plants. The plan appears to extend parking space sizes, which would be very welcoming, as most are too tight squeezes. I like the more open spaces for downtown gatherings and farmer’s market area, as well as creating or improving sidewalks, as many would surely clamor for throughout our city. One thing I’d like to see: a downtown community center, open to all, would be the crowning glory!

My opinion on the downtown development plan designed by Massie & Associates.
