September’s full moon in Pisces “signals a time of huge expansion, opening all to the halls of records and to deeper wisdom and acknowledgment of personal inner truth.  This also facilitates release from the old frameworks, lifestyles and ways of being with the guidance from deep within the soul-heart.”   September 22nd brings the “autumnal equinox, the halfway point between the balances at the solstices.  With Saturn in Capricorn opposite the Moon in Cancer, amplified by the Moon’s nodes, messages from the soul-heart — as well as the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine energies — sharing the perfected vision through all forms of communication are possible.  On September 28, there is a new moon in early Libra, bringing with it the myth of the wounded healer and death and rebirth.  Huge volumes of new powerful frameworks and directions will reveal themselves during this new moon.  The Divine Masculine will come in very strong with new ideas and directions that are solid for building the new foundation in a new heaven and a New Earth in 3D.  This is the guidance from the Mother of All Creation and Inspiration.  Expect the Divine Feminine to give direction and focus of the work that is to be done and what is to be built.”

A clearing of chaos from old fears and patterns occurs as we enter the shift of energies upon us, in this Age of Aquarius.  August 1st begins with the remnant of a new moon, an auspicious time for setting off on a new path, and activates a stellium of planets in Leo, that helps dispel deceptions, assisting us in perceiving more truth.   Jupiter brings beneficial possibilities  and grand opportunities.   During the second week, Venus moves into an alignment with Jupiter, creating a harmonious flow and positive manifestations, enhanced by sharing clear communications and authenticity.   Relax and enjoy the respite.  Venus and Mars, the lover and the warrior, dance through Leo with love and fierce passion.   A square from Neptune and Jupiter, presents a tricky, long-term alignment (remaining most of the year), and tends towards false idealism and delusion.  Certain ideologies gaining sway across the world are not likely to be long-lasting or beneficial in the long-run.  Jupiter-Neptune can be deceiving, giving us a false sense of what is good for us.  Many of us are experiencing deep discontent with our government’s policies and systems, but we should examine our lives, our ambitions and aspirations; what are we doing toward manifesting our dreams?  Are they fantastical or viable?  With some real soul-searching, we can be better aligned with our true selves.  Neptune-Jupiter square brings a sense of altruism, of desiring to help our fellow human beings, and the planet we all live on.

A solar and a lunar eclipse, Mercury retrograde in Cancer, and other planetary alignments generate some high drama.  The solar eclipse on July 2nd in Cancer may catalyze a situation that needs to end, and will mainly affect Cancers, Aries, Librans and Capricorns, but we will all ‘feel the heat’ of this “testing month”.  We really must try to ‘Trust the Universe’ – that a higher purpose is behind these influences.  Solar eclipses usually bring endings and beginnings that clear the path forward.  Cancer represents “nurturing and sensitivity”, and we will do well to apply a caring attitude in all our dealings and relationships this month.

Mercury retrograde on July 8th, as Mars conjoins Mercury and squares Uranus, could prompt a busy, stressful week.  Practice PATIENCE!   “Geminis, Virgos, Aries and Aquarius are likely to be most affected.  “Geminis and Aries are by  nature busy, impatient, and often lack a sense of grounding — and need to be especially careful of blowing a mental fuse.”  All of us might find ourselves feeling the “scattered, frantic energies beaming down to earth, resulting in feelings of anxiety, impatience and overzealousness, trying to make things happen” prematurely  — that may not even be in our best interests.  Mercury rules communication, intellect and travel (and the signs Gemini and Virgo); so in times of Mercury retrograde we always need to consciously slow down, take a break from our routines,  from news, internet, social media, electronic devices, and spend more time outdoors appreciating nature, and in creative play, nourishing ourselves.  The purpose of Mercury retrograde is to help us get back in touch with our inner spirit, and “to review, renew and repair.”  It’s a time to clear out old stuff, to refresh ourselves and our environments, and for paying more attention to meaningfully connecting in our relationships.  We grow by rooting out the old debris, outdated attitudes, beliefs and habits, releasing them to the universe for ‘recasting’, and making room for fresher conceptions of loveliness to grace our experiences.

Saturn and Pluto opposite the Sun and Venus is a very “heavy, oppressive and depressive alignment”.  Capricorns, Cancers, Leos and Scorpios will be affected.  Aires, Librans and Taureans will also feel this challenging alignment.  “It all reaches a peak around the lunar eclipse on July 16th & 17th” in Capricorn, which conjoins Pluto; this is a “time of great intensity …. that will finally come to a head and can be released”.  This can be a time for transformation and rebirth, bringing up “painful issues …. buried rage, anger, jealousies, and resentments to the surface”.  We are faced with the conducive opportunity to let much trauma be released, and subsequently feel much lighter and freer.  Approaching July with the awareness that something needs to be released, and then letting it go, whether its “an attitude, belief, situation, person or possession”, can be very healing.  Possessions can require energy to maintain them; “the message of July is:  What can we release?”  Anger toward someone, unforgiveness, sorrow, self-blame, even ailments …. we can choose to let them go.  Choice.  Intention.  Transformation.  Desire.  Healing.  Manifestation.  Simplify & Release!

The new moon in Gemini on 6/3/19 brings us opportunities for refining our communication skills, for practice in truly listening to others, understanding their perceptions, and trying to more mindfully choose our words and speak from our hearts.  This new moon is also a “potent time for writers, speakers, teachers, poets and musicians” to get their messages out to the people.  Shortly thereafter, the Sun moves into opposition with Jupiter and squares Neptune, which makes this a dangerous interval for “falling prey to illusion — so avoid taking action or making decisions between June 8 and 11th”.  During this planetary transit we can be more easily deceived or manipulated; if something sounds too good to be true — it probably is.  We need to be ‘on guard’ or more discerning at this time, especially those who can be given to naïvete, grandiosity or escapism.  Now is the time to perk up your spidey-sense, and ‘sit out’ any deals or agreements during this transit.   The signs most likely to lose themselves in some fanciful notions are Pisces, Gemini and Sagittarius; Leos will also likely find themselves at a point of confusion.    Geminis especially need to apply caution, as it will be easier for others to take advantage of people born under this sign around these days”.

Many people will be experiencing a heightened sense of anxiety, stress and angst during the second week of this month, as Mars and Mercury in Cancer move to oppose Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn.  Reality may seem harsher, and more among us might feel fearful and insecure regarding changes “imposed by the government”.  We can counteract these feelings by mindfully constructing a better sense of inner security, going within, checking in with our higher selves, “developing a sense of resourcefulness” — so we can feel better able to cope in our material world.  Neptune provides a “supportive link to Saturn” — so that using our dreams in conjunction with practical action and long-term planning — we may better realize our goals and achieve success.  We can expand on a “greater sense of empowerment” by feeding our minds more uplifting messages and information, though “Saturn and Pluto’s opposition to Mars and Mercury will require us to apply patience”.  It seems “much karma is being resolved; we can choose to accept that there is a higher plan, and shine our light, keeping our approach positive,–  and hopefully we can “mitigate the karma and increase the chances of humanity’s ascension”.

The lusty month of May comes in with seven planets in earth signs Taurus and Capricorn and reinforces “themes connected with the environment, climate change, farming, nature, finances, business, politics and the economy”.   Uranus and the new moon in Mercury, in the first week of May, strongly suggests that the old ways are crumbling!  ‘The times they are a changing!’   Rebellions and protests keep these issues forefront on the national stage, and beg common-sense, practical approaches in our everyday lives — in being more mindful in our finances and work, our health and well-being, clearing our homes and minds of clutter and stress.

The double-square from Saturn and Pluto to Venus could feel extremely difficult, so Taurus and Libra folks, especially,  may need to be more mindful about their perceptions and experiences, and to cultivate more lightness and happiness.  Mercury is conjunct Uranus between May 7th and 9th, and suggests an ability to think differently, be more innovative, try different approaches and manifest new solutions.  The Mercury-Uranus combination may find us feeling wired and a bit wild.  Get out in nature to defuse and restore some balance.  Fast-paced May could well feel like a blur, but we can try to make the best of this month by planning activities and minimizing distractions.  “May is a month of Awakening — many people will begin waking up and questioning or seeing for the first time  the truth of what is going on in life,  leading to some interesting developments”.

Women will take meaningful action, lead protests, and rally for soulful change, as Venus joins Uranus around May 17th (before the full moon on May 18th); “expect to see the feminine influence alive and well this month.  The Dalai Lama said that the world will be saved by Western women”, which does not mean that men won’t play their part, but “the way forward is of a feminine nature, and the entire world will benefit from feminine consciousness”, leading the way with nurturing, compassionate, kindness.  “The awakening will be about the realization that we can have a thriving world, not based on competition, greed and selfishness”.  With Venus and Uranus working their way through the feminine earth sign of Taurus, we need not ‘stockpile or accumulate out of fear”.   The old patriarchal ways are no longer working for humanity.

April brings in a hopeful energy with a new moon in Aries on April 5th …. that will square Saturn, as it edges closer to Pluto, with the south node in between.  This will be looked back on “as a time of austerity, difficulty, hardship and darkness”; a time of reaping a difficult harvest, and will require a good deal of patience, as progress won’t come easily.  We can “use the energies of the new moon” to make some progress in our personal lives and relationships, but Saturn, the taskmaster, forces us to put in the effort to effect such changes, even if we can only employ small actions towards our goals.  Every journey begins with that first step.  “Aries has no time for procrastination, and Capricorn has no time for idle fantasies”, so with them …. use this new moon motivation to help you go forward.  If we seek to change our world, we must choose a cause that matters to us and take action, even if it’s only volunteering a “few hours a week, putting up a page on your website, reducing your use of plastics, or pledging your support to a project or initiative”.   These actions can lead to big results!

There is a hopeful undercurrent for acknowledgement within the mass consciousness of confirmations of truth regarding our perpetual penchant for wars, and for healing humanity.

Mercury retrogrades in Pisces on March 6th, and  is a time to slow our hectic pace, which frustrates so many of us who just want to keep it up.  A new moon (in Pisces) also occurs on March 6th, aligned with Neptune.  The Pisces-Neptune energy that we must navigate is thick and deep.  Pisces energy urges a more spiritual approach, which works well in the Mercury retrograde.  So, make time for some slower-paced activities this month, such as swimming, writing, meditating, photography, music, art or dance, exploring your creative side.  Uranus enters Taurus on March 6th, increasing the dynamic vibrations, and so,  the week is “packed with dramatic planetary shifts …. and signifies the beginning of some rather dramatic changes for Earth”.  We can “expect more unusual weather and perhaps disruptions to technology — from sunspots, solar storms, and the effects of global warming.  The planet is changing and we have to be willing to change with it.”  We must “go with the flow and trust our intuition, watching for signs and symbols, sensing what needs to be done”.  Being less reliant on our tech gadgets and more in tune with our spiritual sense or inner wisdom is the best method to employ at this time.  Quiet contemplation and meditative silence can help us reactivate our core.

“The Aries and Capricorn folk need to be especially conscious of this planetary clash, and the Aquarius and Scorpio people will also be strongly affected and need to tread carefully.  Sudden outbursts of temper or unpredictable behavior are clues that suppressed emotions are trying to make their way out, but a lack of mindfulness could result in impulsive reactions that could also be destructive …. the best bet is to work toward creative change.  Consider what needs to develop in your life; depending on whether you fall on the Pluto-Saturn-Capricorn side or the Mars-Uranus-Aries side, you will need to either let go or forge your independence.”  We might feel “both tendencies, and these alignments are simply bringing the imbalance of this power dynamic to your our attention.”

“When Mars moves into Taurus on Feb 14th, the previous volatile energies will abate, but we are still left with the heavy planetary energies of Capricorn, which suggests that the powers that be …. will maintain their dominion for some time to come, but these protests and rebellions will become more frequent.  These are warning signs to those with authority that things will continue to breakdown until eventually a new, fairer system is created.”  The third week in  February when Venus conjuncts Saturn and Pluto, a cold wind blows on the lives of Taurus, Libra, and Capricorn folk especially; “effort will need to be made to bring warmth and love into proceedings, best done by focusing on the good things in life and practicing gratitude and appreciation.  As Venus becomes sandwiched between Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, life … for Libra and Taurus people especially could feel rather harsh, but these signs need to remember that this period won’t last long and that there may be a purpose for the austerity”.

January jump-starts with ‘half the zodiac’, including Saturn — the taskmaster — in Capricorn, the ‘sign of karma and responsibility’, with a solar eclipse in Capricorn on Jan 5th, energizing ‘an interesting start to the year’.  “We will be shown in no uncertain terms how we are reaping what we have sown: substandard health, mental instability, growing poverty for certain sections of society, brewing tensions, increased violence and aggression, continued environmental destruction, and additional species bordering on extinction.  Capricorn is the sign of the stern but fair parent, the wise authority figure, who says it’s time to sort ourselves out.  It’s time to get real and behave more like adults in the world.  Wherever in life you are childish, immature, unrealistic or unorganized is likely to be revealed now.”

Jupiter, the “planet that brings good things, protects us, nurtures our growth and offers us opportunities” moves from Scorpio to Sagittarius on Nov 8th, where it is “at home”; its expansive energies best felt in the sign it rules.  “Jupiter governs religion, adventure, philosophy, good fortune, abundance, optimism and expansion”.   This planetary shift, lightens during its transit, the emphasis from heavier issues to more fun, adventurous and optimistic endeavors; the particular benefits affecting us individually according to Jupiter’s placement in our charts.  But wait!  This shift will be hampered nearly immediately as Mercury retrogrades, and we find its influence slowing our momentum.  As in any Mercury retrograde, we need to chill down and let our creative side of the brain do its thing for awhile.  Spending time in quiet contemplation, enjoying music, doing art, journaling, dancing, whatever helps us shift into our more balanced selves, is advisable.  This will also be a good time for us to return to small projects or tasks, going through closets and belongings to find the things we can donate or discard, releasing things no longer needed.

Mars, moving into Pisces, “will reward” those with gentler approaches; philosophical and spiritual activities attracting us more, “especially during the second half” of the month, “when little synchronicities are more likely to appear if we’re on the right track”.   A full moon on Nov 23rd will be in opposition to Jupiter and Mercury, and squared by Mars; this can be a very tricky time.  We need to be mindful of over-extending ourselves physically, emotionally, financially.  “This is an intense, volatile full moon, during which emotions could easily get the better of us”.  Go with the flow and be mindful that we may “need to rein in our reactions” some.  “Jupiter’s growth needs to be balanced with care, optimism with realism, and greed with satisfaction.  November is about a quest for meaning.  If we don’t have a sense of meaning in our lives, we tend to consume things we don’t need or fill our days with as much external stimulation as we possibly can.  The negative side of Jupiter in Sagittarius doesn’t know when to stop, and greed takes over.  The positive side enables us to create a life rich with meaning.  Pause for thought during this penultimate month of the year, and ask, ‘What gives me a sense of meaning?’  Then go and do it!”  Adventure awaits us!
