November is a month of blessings, “gifts and good fortune, protection, benevolence and fun”.  The auspicious alignment of the Sun, Venus and Jupiter brings a “celebratory atmosphere”, which everyone will benefit from, and helps us to put into perspective the tumultuous events of the past year.  Many of us experienced dramatic upheavals, losses, new beginnings and difficult lessons, but we can now accept the gifts in those lessons, release the past, and soak in the beneficent energies raining down on us now!  Those born under Scorpio can expect a “boost in good fortune” and can push forward  “out of their comfort zones”; Taurus can see relationships blossoming; Libras are set to benefit financially; Leos will see “positive developments in their domestic lives”.  Capricorn can look to “happy social events and new friendships or fulfillment of a hope or dream”; Aquarians can “anticipate greater success and opportunities in their professional lives.  Pisces can look for adventure, travel, education; Sagittarius a expect a “boost in their spiritual lives — a stronger connection to the Divine”.  Aries may experience “profound insights or a mystical experience, possibly facilitating a rebirth or positive financial developments. September begins with Neptune opposing the “Sun in Virgo and then sides with the full moon in Pisces.  Mars then joins the Sun in Virgo, swiftly followed by Mercury and Venus.  This is a huge amount of energy in the sign of Virgo, and no doubt those born under it will find themselves in the spotlight in some way this month.”  This gaggle of planets in Virgo would normally be an “uptight, anxious combination”; but Neptune continues in opposition for the entire month, casting a different and modifying effect.  “Virgo is not known for its relaxed go-with-the-flow approach to life. It is a sign that likes to have a certain amount of control.  Virgo’s analytical and reasoning abilities is second to none, as is its ability to discriminate between what’s good and bad.  Virgo, after all, is the sign that spots flaws and has a plan to fix them before anyone else.”  {I interject here that I am a Leo, with a stellium in Virgo — Mercury, Moon, Saturn and Venus — in my fifth house (natal) of Self-expression Creativity, Children, Pleasure, Romance and Politics.  Those of you who know me can possibly see — why I take on so!  My intellect, emotions, sense of discipline and passion all revolve around fifth house concerns, and lend to my being analytical, critical, studious, dramatic, creative in speech and writing, passionate about politics and ancient knowledge, obsessed about my children — their safety and success, and tend to want to discuss important matters over small talk; that’s why I’m like a WALKING GROUP THERAPY SESSION!  I’m trying to rein it in and see things more from Neptune’s vantage.}  Neptune has a radically different stance on life and sees everything as One, accepts it all — good and bad, and says, “Don’t worry, because there is no wrong, it is as it should be”.  So Neptune, casting this harmonious, synchronistic presence over Virgo helps us to try “to see whatever is happening in our lives or in the outside world, as part of a Divine plan”.  Adopting this positive mind-frame and being in a state of allowing helps us to attract and manifest our desires much more harmoniously than the struggle and hand-wringing that some of us are prone to.   A full moon on Sept 6th is accompanied by Neptune and Pisces — “a full moon of nonattachment, compassion, tolerance and forgiveness. So if you need to forgive someone, this is a good point to do so”.  This theme continues “peaking around the new moon on Sept 20th when the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars and Venus align in Virgo”.  This is a “blessing of new beginnings for Virgos and could be a “very potent time” — if they can adopt the “philosophy of nonattachment.  For everyone else this cluster of planets along with the new moon will have strong repercussions on a particular area of life.  Leos will see new beginnings in their material lives — money, work or possessions; and Sagittarians will be blessed with an auspicious turn of events in their life direction or professional worlds.  Everyone will benefit from this powerful new moon in Virgo”, but it might not initially seem so for some as “so much energy is one part of the sky can feel very intense and not to everyone’s liking.  So, whatever happens — the choice is ours, how we choose to experience the events; we can “start over in some way and embrace change” — we “can choose to focus on problems or celebrate the good things in our life”.  We can “accept things just as they are, no matter how painful that might be”.  And with that acceptance — everyone and everything softens — “and that’s when the magic appears”.  Thank you Neptune, for the benevolent lesson!   I choose gratitude and JOY!

August is a month of passionate “new beginnings” and “opportunities to manifest creative change in any area of your life that has become stagnant”.  August 7th brings a lunar eclipse “in the sign of Aquarius and opposes Mars”, which can feel extremely intense!  It might “be difficult to keep a lid on things, and we might find that our emotions spill out and overpower us and those around us”.  As we begin to gain clarity on situations, and “Mercury slows and turns retrograde on August 13th, in the sign of Virgo” we would benefit by making a sustained effort to “swim with the tide and not try to force things”.  During Mercury retrogrades it is always best to “go with the flow”, be philosophical over any delays and stay positive, allowing our creative minds to switch on and assist us in our journeys and our day-to-days.  Things can’t be forced during retrogrades; the opportunity exists to “review, repair, renew, rejuvenate, re-evaluate and revisit” whatever has been neglected.  A “solar eclipse on August 21st is a major cosmic event and has the potential to shake up things on the world stage, and bring big changes;a sudden awakening is possible.   We should send up collective prayers and meditations on that day, as well as leading up to it, for peace and love for our planet.  The eclipse is likely to bring greater opportunities for new beginnings, which are more easily undertaken without a load of old baggage weighing us down.  We are called to “lighten up”!  The solar eclipse in Leo, accompanied by Mars, is sure to be “a dramatic time for the Leos; to utilize Mars in the best way possible we should apply energy and motivation” to our desires while allowing destiny to work with us.  The eclipse occurring near the end of the sign — often indicates endings.  The eclipse is “exactly trine Uranus — the planet of change and innovation”, which lends its supporting influence to help us “embrace the new at this time”.  We need not always resist change, and we can choose to release material things we no longer need as well as thoughts and belief systems that no longer serve us.  We can choose to accept change and TRUST that the universe is bringing us greater good for all concerned and for our own personal growth.  “If we are willing to honor the truth of who we really are, we could find the events of August are actually just what we need — if we only dare admit it.”   We can lighten up, let go, and Let God.

A “planetary clash involving Mars, Pluto, Jupiter, Uranus and Mercury” occurs this month mirroring the conflict and drama of past April.  Amidst the tension and chaos we need to try to keep our cool — many power struggles will abound.  The “opposition between Pluto and Mars – the god of power versus the god of war” will be plenty uncomfortable for most of us as we witness the tension among “world leaders or political parties as those in power behave like bullies” and seek to outdo each other. Many of us are working “behind the scenes to influence matters in positive ways”.  We can pray for peace and “meditate on love and compassion” to assist the efforts for world peace.  Remember to call on your angels to help you transmute the negative energies.  “This kind of spiritual power is the highest expression of Pluto.”  “Uranus squares to Pluto, Mars and Jupiter represent the need to cut free and find autonomy, independence and freedom.” This powerful, dramatic T-square bears the potential for liberation and opportunity.  Within this alignment we can more easily move into liberation!  If you’re embroiled in conflict, you may need to decide if you need to stand up for yourself or walk away.  If being used or misused, NOW is the time to take a stand!  Conflicts can “magically disappear or at least become manageable”; ask your angels for help.  A full moon on July 9th with Mars in opposition and Jupiter squaring both sets of planets, this alignment can bring tensions and anger to a peak.  If mindful of this before hand, you can possibly steer clear of volatile reactions, and ask yourself “whether there’s a similar past situation triggering the current fear, anxiety or anger.  The moon often represents the past and repressed emotions.  We can help ourselves by meditating or thinking on the “highest possible outcome” and setting our intentions thereon.  The new moon on July 23rd offers us the “chance to create a more positive situation”.  You will carry  your thoughts and intentions from July 9th forward to July 23rd “effectively planting your seeds for the future”.  So, “be mindful of your thoughts,  feelings and mental pictures” from full to new moon phase, creating “positive mental images and strive to find the lesson in any difficulty or power struggle”. Intentions carry great strength!  Become aware of and firmly set your intentions!  Let go of the past!  Find peace in the NOW!   Plant seeds of love, patience and contentment.  It only takes a small shift of consciousness – to decide – to choose – to feel Joy in Today.  Believe all good things can happen!

Venus, Mercury and Mars move into Taurus, Gemini and Cancer signs respectively, early in June and the planets are moving quickly; the Sun joins  Mercury on June 21st, moving into Cancer, and the month seems to fly by.  A full moon on June 9th is aligned with Saturn and squared by Neptune, which brings in themes of confusion, responsibility and commitment — time to face the facts and deal with delusions!  On June 10th Jupiter turns direct, and should make it easier to focus on moving forward.  Saturn urges us to deal with the details, “face the facts and to be responsible, structured and disciplined”.  We need to “get real about what we want”, form clear intentions and move forward knowing our motivations, attaining our goals and desires.  Mars squares Jupiter and opposes Pluto, with a new moon on June 24th, which can present difficulties for several days.    “This alignment is classic for people overstepping their bounds, going overboard, biting off more than they can chew, or believing something is possible (or easy) when really it isn’t, at least not without a cost.  It is easy to become over-zealous, regarding something that you’re passionate about when these three planets are at odds with each other, and the darkest side of this is fanaticism.  We could see this acted out on our world stage in terrorism, bullying tactics, angry outbursts, or a total lack of tolerance of races and religions.  Strongly religious people will be more likely to try to enforce their beliefs — strong beliefs are likely to be exaggerated at this time.”  We should be mindful to try to not overstep our bounds with others and also with ourselves, physically, mentally, emotionally.  Testing our limits can leave us exhausted, depleted or injured.  Instead of all the striving, we can take it easier; practice moderation and more self-love.  “Moderation is the word for this new moon, alongside the Mars-Pluto-Jupiter alignment.”  This planetary event is awesome for new beginnings in new directions, but we also need to combine “enthusiasm with prudence, motivation with balance, the desire to get ahead with consideration for others, and optimism with a reality check”.   Let’s form the intention to ditch the baggage, get clear, be positive, breathe deeply and practice joyfulness.

May comes in like a sweet, refreshing breeze, after the harrowing strain of the previous four months.  “Rarely in human history have we been faced with the kind of challenges that we as a species are dealing with now.  Some days it seems as though the world is unraveling at the seams and that humanity is cracking under the strain.”  May is the time that we can breathe deeply and “remember what life is all about!”  Mercury is retrograde until May 4th, which allows us a slowed-up transition.  “Aligned with Uranus in Aries, it also offers us the chance to download some startling or revolutionary insights”.  Some radical solutions to today’s problems could be generated.  A “trine to Saturn in Sagittarius opens the channels of communication and invites dialogue between different races and various ideologies.  The square to Pluto in Capricorn could make life a little more difficult for multi-national corporations and big businesses.  Uranus, along side Mercury in Aries is reflective of people waking up and asserting their rights, especially with the square to Pluto.”  This is a time to stand up to big business and demand fair play!  “Mercury will be side by side with Uranus until May 10th; use this time to think differently, challenge preconceived perceptions (yours and others) and generate exciting new ideas.”  This is an excellent time for “channels and mentally creative people to open up to divine inspiration.  The downside to this combination is tactlessness, rash thinking, impatience and nervous tension.”  If you are susceptible to those inclinations, “make a concerted effort to slow down, meditate, ground yourself and think before speaking”.  Seek tranquility in nature!  Don’t overload yourself with unnecessary responsibilities; leave some space for fun and relaxation and communing with the natural world; take a break from your devices for  awhile, and chase the kids out to play in the sunshine as well.  “A full moon on May 10th with no dramatic alignments, can still be a volatile time with the Moon in Scorpio.  Good thing Pluto “is on hand to help channel any deep emotional states into something constructive”.  Do some art, music, writing, photography, collage; the time between May 7th and 12th, with Neptune square Mars, is a great time for artistic expression.  This time frame is more conducive for creative endeavors than for business pursuits; place business ventures on the back burner at this time.  “Neptune drowns Mars energy, making it ineffectual except for creative, spiritual or altruistic means.”  It’s a good time for volunteering and helping others and a great time for “meditation and other spiritual pursuits”.   “The Sun enters Gemini on May 21 and joins Mars, which is good news for Geminis, who will regain the “spring in their step”.  Mercury moves into Taurus, which “should provide a welcome respite for the Aries people”, slowing down the “frenetic mental energy”, allowing for more stable, grounded behaviors, allowing us to “plant the seeds of those wacky ideas” that we received earlier this month.  May ends with a new moon on May 25th in Gemini — with no aspects, “which is quite unusual, so we must be careful not to let our fanciful notions run away with us”.  “Positive ideas need to be grounded”, not simply wished for, and “negative fears or overreactions also need to be put in perspective”.  With Mars opposite Saturn, we can “be inclined to lean toward the negative” as the amount of energy necessary to keep going … seems to be ALOT!  “However, this new moon offers hope and new beginnings.  We just need to not be put off by obstacles and delays.”  A thought to hold to, spoken by Robert H. Schuller, “God’s delays are not God’s denials”, may help us cope.  “Bear this in mind as we head toward the new moon, remembering that things happen when the time is right.”  Stop… to smell the May flowers and enjoy Spring!

Venus, planet of love and beauty, retrograde and squared to Saturn puts a damper on love and attachments this month and portends serious lessons to be learned.  The “themes of relationships, money, possessions and self-worth” will be highlighted.  Venus retrograde often tends to accentuate problems in all relationships, squared Saturn “severe feelings of disillusionment can set in”.  Mercury, also being retrograde, affects and confuses communications and expressions.  Before ending any relationships, put off all such decisions until Venus goes direct on April 16th; the second half of the month should present more clarity.  Venus retrograde draws attention to what is false, what we need to sift through to discover what is of real value.  The big lesson here is on discerning our level of self-worth.  If we aren’t feeling worthy of the good that can come to us we tend to overcompensate with flashy status symbol items, big spending and too much attention to appearances, and possibly by allowing others “to take advantage of us”.  There “is an opportunity to weed out what isn’t worthy of you” and to create a “richer and more meaningful” life.  Venus retrograde in April is a great time to conduct an extensive spring-cleaning, so let’s release what we no longer love and open space for what we consciously decide to invest in and upkeep. Even in relationships, we sometimes outgrow “people that come into our lives for a reason”, and letting go can be difficult; sometimes differences “become too difficult to tolerate”.   This can also be a positive time for clearing old grievances and restoring and reviving basically “sound relationships”, strengthening and creating a more authentic state of relating and being.  Venus, moving through the sign of Pisces, reminds us “of the importance of tolerance and forgiveness, which is timely, as there’s a huge need for healing now!  “There is a full moon opposite Uranus and square Pluto” around April 11th, where our tolerance will be sorely tested, and Saturn square Venus is a hard aspect, inclining us to feel under-appreciated.  “We must make a conscious effort to forgive or tolerate those we don’t agree with”, even if we feel we must distance ourselves at this time — “we should do so with acceptance that others are entitled to think or be the way they are”.  On April 16th Venus turns direct, but we most likely won’t feel the freeing effects until around April 21st.  “The new moon in Taurus on April 26th” fuels this desire to start fresh and set our positive intentions.  “The conjunction of Mercury and Uranus creates an electrifying buzz in the air that is inclined to think of solutions rather than focus on problems.”  This is the rainbow at the end of a tough month with encourages us to contemplate self-worth issues, which “could be at the root of any discontent and to identify the people and things in our lives that have real value and discard the rest”.   As usual, Saturn, the taskmaster, brings tough, but necessary life lessons; we can choose to navigate with as much positivity and compassion as we can muster for the journey.

“Mars and Uranus in Aries squaring Pluto and opposing Jupiter represents hard times”; this T-square being present last month, it “is still in operation” though somewhat decreasing in energy.  However, “it’s as though there are two separate realities running concurrently, and we can choose to experience the stressful reality or the easy reality”.  We may find ourselves over-reacting in a tense, frustrated, irritated, impatient, intolerant, excessive mode, pushing and struggling to achieve our goals, feeling an acute lack of time, resources or expertise; or we can choose to dwell in a softer reality, shortening our “to-do lists” and finding more time and opportunities for relaxation and pleasurable activities.  We can practice some mindfulness techniques to help reduce stress and to get into the flow.  This softer sense “is reflected by Sun, Neptune, Mercury and Chiron in Pisces; the Sun’s conjunction with Neptune in Pisces urges us “to let go” of that which isn’t working and “stop trying to force matters”.   It would be beneficial to learn to trust our intuition, “listening for our soul’s whispers”.   “The Sun’s conjunction to Neptune invites us to focus on healing, forgiveness, tolerance, acceptance, beauty, meditation, release and transcendence.”  This Neptunian energy lends to acceptance  and forgiveness — what situation do we need to accept and who needs our forgiveness?  What activities help us get into the flow?  We need to find our bliss and make more time for it.     “It will take more conscious effort for some people to choose the soft-time reality; and those born under Mars, Uranus, Jupiter and Pluto” now with the T-square, will need to “remind themselves to step out of the fray and adopt a gentler approach”.  Aries, Libra and Capricorn folk need to go easy on themselves as this month starts out rather challenging and there is the urge “to create refreshing change and liberation from tired, old circumstances.  Be bold and take a chance for your soul’s joy!”   Mid-month brings another T-square “featuring Sun, Mercury and Chiron in Pisces, squaring Neptune and opposite the full moon in Virgo”.  A full moon sometimes bring clarity.      “We might need to incorporate one or two of Saturn’s characteristics into our actions: responsibility, maturity, structure, planning, persistence, realism or boundaries.  Take the needed trait and “work with it like a potter works with clay”.  Persevere and “the characteristic will soon take shape in your life, helping to produce something of lasting value.  The Sun moves into Aries on March 20th and joins Mercury, Venus and Uranus in a very energetic combination” for inspiring and motivating us.  Aries will benefit greatly, as will Leo and Sagittarius in a time of adventure and fun!  Venus retrograde will be a “good time to focus on relationships and ironing out any problems”.  A new moon on March 28th in Aries, aligned with retrograde Venus brings the energy of new beginnings, undertaking new projects and taking others to a new level.  Take caution though for the moon in Saturn squaring Venus — to not leap into something that seems like it could be a good idea, without considering others.  What is of real value to us?  It’s time to prioritize.  Saturn influences us to persevere with the virtue we undertook to work on earlier in the month, with no shortcuts.  As we are tempted to focus on loftier matters, we are urged to “mind the details”; what’s going on with those closest to us?                     “If everything is falling apart at home how can we hope to gain success out in the world?  Lee Iacocca said, ‘No matter what you’ve done for yourself or for humanity, if you can’t look back on having given love and attention to your own family, what have you really accomplished?”        The March “Virgo full moon with Saturn’s constant presence” reminds us of the importance of taking care of the small things.  For now “think a little less of your lofty goals and ambitions, spiritual pursuits, fantasies, addictions, indulgences, and visions of tomorrow.  Virgo and Saturn say pay attention to the here and now.  Take care of the details and the bigger stuff will take care of itself.  Fix the car, tackle the neglected jobs around the house, tend to the paperwork, pay the bills” and take care of yourselves by choosing the “softer reality”.

Scorpio, the taskmaster, has a very transforming influence on assisting us in making long overdue changes.  With Sun in Scorpio and Moon in Taurus — letting go of what we’ve been too long holding on to — is central to our lives this month.  The full moon on November 14th may reveal what other shifts we need to work toward.  “An inconjunction to Uranus, though, suggest that although it might feel awkward, the solution is not that difficult providing you are willing to make a small change, whether that’s being willing to see the other person’s point of view or making some kind of concession that allows an impasse to dissolve.”  Let go of old thought models that no longer serve you and bring in new insights to go forward.  We may be called upon to be more flexible and tolerant  than we feel is comfortable.  A shift in our thinking can occur quickly if we just put forth the effort with positive energy and intent.  As the “Sun enters Sagittarius on November 22nd, the energies become much lighter” clarifying our vision.  The new moon on November 29th is squared by Neptune and may lend to a feeling of confusion.  We may need to put forth effort to be “focused and realistic” to avoid a possible deceptive sense of things.  Be skeptical around this time of deals or situations that seem too good to be true.  Give yourself some time before committing to tempting offers — trust your intuition, not your ego.  “This new moon gives us an opportunity to take a step toward our visions  by discovering what we don’t need.”  And though we might feel let down at the time, we will be glad later — that we made the choice to wait and listen to our inner wisdom.

A new moon on Oct 1st “is joined by Jupiter and forms a square to Mars and Pluto”, which can stir up high anxiety.  “Much of the chaos and drama is likely to be seen in the financial markets across the world and in conflicts involving justice and fairness, as well as political and big business dramas.”  This is a time of opportunities to create new chapters in our lives, especially for Libra and the other air signs.  The influence of Jupiter in this new moon lends an atmosphere for optimistic growth.  What we focus our attention on expands, so set your intention on what you’d like to experience more of, possibly fun and adventure, “and then start believing”.  To clarify our intention — we may want to write it down, and be specific.  The Sun and Mercury join Jupiter in Libra, and so a theme of greater equality should reign this month, highlighting possibly human rights and fair pay.  “Mercury in Libra is a great negotiator and brings a great opportunity to resolve conflict and restore peace” amidst chaos and uncertainty.      Mid-month “Mars joins forces with Pluto and forms a square to the planets in Libra and the full moon and Uranus in Aries”, so hold on to your seats!  An eruption could occur on Oct 16th, so be forewarned!  We can choose to act instead of react!   “This full moon is likely to bring about change” that probably needs to happen and which can feel freeing.  “This full moon brings into play 3 of the 4 cardinal signs and no less than 7 planets, so we can expect this to be a time of action.”  We can use this time to progress our goals and move forward in life.  “This full moon is likely to bring the gift of clarity.
