December 2015 Predictions

The first week of December brings a conjunction of Saturn to the Sun, with Neptune squaring this duo, forcing some folks to face up to the fantasies they’ve created in their own minds, and consequently to deal with the illusions and deceptions that have resulted.  Saturn is the taskmaster, but rewards us for diligent work and “sensible effort”.  Sagittarians in particular must pay heed to Saturn’s message as Saturn is conjoined to the Sun in the sign of the Archer, but now is an important time for us all to face up to our failures, see our situations clearly, determine to learn from our mistakes, and forge ahead with constructive steps to reap the rewards that await us.  The second week brings drama as we face a new moon in Sagittarius on 12/11 alongside a volatile T-square featuring Mars, Uranus and Pluto.  The past five turbulent years we have witnessed the actions and results of this dynamic, so it is possible that we might see “a flare up of matters on the world stage”.  We will want to nurture and enhance calmness and peace this week as our patience may be tested.  This is especially the advice for those born under Aries, Libra, Capricorn, Aquarius and Scorpio.  Meditating, journaling, walking, relaxation techniques would be good steps to take to bring more balance to our experience.  With any difficult planetary aspects there is always the opportunity for change .  These planets will shake things up, especially where we’ve allowed things to become stagnant.  We may feel challenged to let go of a situation, the past, a way of being.  “There is an element of burnout” here, so slow down!  “Maybe you will need to let go of an overly busy life and make space for new things to emerge.   This volatile T-square could be calling you to be more assertive and to make changes that protect you and your well-being.”  It may just urge us to be courageous enough to do what we need to do!   The new moon in Sagittarius may help us to change our focus to new creative ways of doing and being.  Moving into the third week, Mercury joins Pluto on 12/19 while squaring Uranus, which begs for us to raise our consciousness …to glean new insights that might offer us “a new way of seeing and experiencing things, and it will pay to slow right down and be present in everything you do — if only for the days that this planetary alignment is in operation”.   There is a full moon on Christmas Day, which can “bring about a more social mood”; a full moon can also bring forth suppressed emotions!  A full moon amplifies feelings, so if we are feeling stressed out and irritated, maybe we should stay away from drinking alcohol.  If we feel offended we can walk away, count to ten and concentrate on what we have to be grateful for.  Positive feelings are amplified also, so if we are feeling loving and happy to be spending time with our loved ones , those vibrations are amped up too.  “With a lovely, harmonious link among Mercury, Jupiter and Venus, the scene will be set to communicate in a loving way, and this Christmas will be a perfect time to show people that you love and appreciate them.  Intention is everything, and this Christmas brings everyone the opportunity to tap into a feeling of benevolence, generosity, loving warmth and kindness.  Merry Christmas everyone!”
