On Jan 20th we have a new moon in Aquarius, with Saturn forming a benevolent aspect, but on Jan 22nd Mercury turns retrograde, so we need to slow down and plan carefully our next moves. “Rushing is the worst thing you can do under Mercury retrograde”, so “read instruction manuals carefully, study the contract with a fine tooth comb before you sign, and generally, take your time”. So with a new moon signaling a new beginning in a new year “welcome new beginnings” mentally by writing down the details of your plans. “Get clear on what you need to revise and where your blocks are — starting afresh with careful action”. As we near the end of the month “Mars and Neptune perfect their alignment making this the week to go with the flow”. These combined energies work well for creative people: musicians, artists, writers, dancers, filmmakers, photographers, and support productivity and joy this final week of January. Going with the flow means — instead of getting stuck on our own rigid outlining we try to be flexible and adaptable , finding joy in what life brings us. (The full moon on Jan 5th in Cancer was aspected by a T-square with the Sun and “Pluto in Capricorn, Uranus in Aries — an aspect of great tension”. In the 2nd week of January Saturn formed a right angle to Mars and Neptune in Pisces, frustrating the urge, for many, to make progress. The energies of the first two weeks of this month compel us to be –out with the old, in with the new, and to look within to see where we are carrying unnecessary burdens and to release them. Stop choosing suffering and limitation and choose Joy!) “2015 will be a big year full of dramatic happenings! Wealth, success, and power are all possibilities, though there is a sense of confusion and anxiety about our future.” We can “step into our own power and save ourselves! The Pluto-Uranus square that began in 2011 will end this year, but its effects can still be felt” for several months. “The ecology of our planet is at a tipping point!” We must take responsibility for conservation and preservation. “Much lies in our own hands.” Each person “doing their bit” might simply mean growing wildflowers, “feeding the birds, growing a small garden or getting together with others to grow cooperatively, avoiding pesticides, buying or growing more organic food, and using more natural products around our homes”. Jupiter in Leo is a sign of excesses. “People could end up being swallowed by their own greed and excess. We need to practice restraint and good judgment, or we may find that we have bitten off more than we can chew.” 2015 does “bring opportunities for success, especially Jan – July; “a great year to start or expand your own business through careful application, but greed, shortcuts, and get-rich-quick schemes will all meet with ruin , so be careful what you become involved with.” Fat cats at the top may continue to do quite well for awhile, but the bubble could burst soon. “The corruption and abuses of power by those at the top will be more evident. Religions are likely to find this a challenging year as Saturn moves through Sagittarius.” “Tensions may increase among the Middle East, U.S. and UK. Making the right choices will be paramount in 2015 since this is a karmic year. Air travel could become more restrictive.” Jupiter moves into Virgo in August; those focusing on healing and helping others will find reward over the next year. Neptune aspecting Saturn does not bode well –” depression, anxiety and mental disorders” may arise or be exacerbated. This combination of energies is “most associated with suffering.” We may, at least, need “to sacrifice more of our time for others this year or give up something personal in favor of a greater cause.” “2015 is a time of great opportunity; it’s up to you what you choose to do with that opportunity.” Let’s choose JOY and helping others over the rough paths! Enjoy people and use things; not the other way around.

March Predictions
This month sees “the mirroring energies of Pluto and Uranus on Earth”, which represents “change at the deepest level”, making their final aspect, a square; as Mars gets in on the act, it’s sure to be dramatic! “On March 12th Mars conjoins Uranus and makes a 90 degree angle to Pluto; the South node is involved” also, showing that we need to cast off our “old patterns” and surge ahead with courage and willingness to change! What is holding us back? A situation or habit, relationships or beliefs? We may need to acknowledge and confront our issues of dependency and/or inequalities to break free and create more balance. This “final square from Uranus to Pluto” might be the catalyst to “crack our resistance”. “We may need to be a little bit rebellious ..to break out of our shackles.” We need “to get through the final square” or grand finale of these alignments. “This is the month when any country or group that still feels oppressed but has yet to rise up and hit back against the ruling forces is likely to take action”. Mahatma Gandhi said, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world”. Mars and Uranus in Aries is “cosmic dynamite, so we can expect a few explosions — that shake the old structures as the oppressed rise up against the ruling elite”. This month a solar eclipse at the end of Pisces, in the last degrees in the last sign, represents an ending — a “closing chapter in the life of humanity”, and the repercussions may be felt for quite some time. We must clear out the old “to create the new”. It may be difficult, but allow whatever is finished to “go with love and compassion, knowing that as one door closes, another one opens”. Pisces is the sign of Oneness; Aries the sign of individuality; we need “to find a balance between the two”. The potential here is to “see us blossom” and grow “into our true magnificent selves”. Henry David Thoreau said, “If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps its because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away”.
