Building and testing of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles by the North Korean dictator, Kim Jong Un’s regime, violates the United Nations Security Council resolutions, and sanctions by the U.N. doesn’t seem to be enough to deter them. Kim has increased his threats against South Korea and U.S. Since his third nuclear test on Feb 12th, his terrorist tactics have caused overseas investors to pull billions of dollars from South Korean stocks, sabotaging their economy, (their currency down also). U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, is traveling to talk to leaders of S.K., Japan, and China, (the biggest trading partner of N.K.) to ask China to use its economic and political power to prevent an armed conflict. The U.S. should absolutely use our missile defense systems to intercept missles in our defense and for our allies. What if, as the world’s “observers”, we all decided to pray everyday for world peace?
